I am April Pyatt and I'm a professional wedding planner based in Durham, NC. As the owner and lead event coordinator, I specialize in creating exquisite events while alleviating the stress of coordinating for my clients. When I'm not planning, I enjoy travel, my family and friends!

I have become a master at combining my technical skills with creativity to bring your dreams to life. I began my career in the event industry while working for a wedding planner in my home state of South Carolina. While learning invaluable skills needed for the business, I decided to open my own company, and in 2008, established Socialite Events.

I am a NC Wedding planner who does absolutely travel for destination weddings, have passport, will travel. I also specialize in day of wedding planning, along with partial wedding planning, as well as full service planning.

I developed a firm and curated a team of professional experts within the industry. We devised a five-step system that I apply to wedding planning in order to simplify and organize the process.
